Identify Genre and explain choice

I have decided that the genre of my magazine is going to be mainly Rock, but with also similar genre stories such as pop-rock and alternative rock. I have chosen this genre because this is the type of music i generally listen to and i think i could do a good job of creating a magazine of this genre because i understand what people my age would want to see in this type of magazine.
