NME's double page spread in this issue is about the 40th of anniversary of Glastonbury Festival. The first page of the magazine which is the first picture has been split into two sections, one half is a picture of a band 'Happy Mondays' and the other half is the start of the article. The picture that NME have included isnt a picture that shows theband fully, interpreting that NME used this picture because the audience should 'already' know who they are or be able to recognise the picture. The picture is also in black and white which connotates this it is an old band. At the top right of the page, a headline reading, 'The raggy ticket takeover' had been placed, this connotates that that years Glastonbury was a sell out. Between the two halves of the page they have turned a divider into a headline. Underneath this they have stated what stage the Happy Monday's was on, which is effective because this will give readers who was there that year a reminder on which stage they played on. Then underneath this the article starts, like the other magazines i have evaluated the first letter starts Bigger than any other word on the page in bold writing, this interview then goes onto the next page. A colour scheme has been kept between these two pages, but not with the front cover. The only colour on the double page spread is green, the background is white and all of the text is black. The rest of the interview takes over only half of the second page, just like the first page. The other half is taken over by 2 images to do with this specific band, and NME going onto explain the next band which is 'Verve'. Like on the first page NME have used the green banner to advertise the next band. This shows they have cared about keeping a colour scheme throughout the double page spread. Because of the several different bands on one double page spread, the repetition of the layout and the way each band has a number, it is clear to understand that because on the cover, they are advertising glastonbury, inside it's not only a double page spread it's more or less a full article of all the bands that have played there.
I-NME magazine is published and produced by IPC Media group, International Publishing Corporation.
I - NME beliefs are to get bands/artists to tell them their beliefs. They want the bands to tell them as much as possible.
A - NME targets their magazine at teenagers and young adults. Although this issue of the magazine is aimed at the older generation of adults as it's about past bands of the glastonbury festivals, on the other hand this is still aimed at teenagers and young adults because it's informing them about bands they would of probably liked if they were bands from their generation.
